8) i don't like john cusack -- um, i'm sorry but lloyd dobler is not the perfect guy, he is also, you know, not factually a real guy and he was shallow and selfish and a loser and if you are out of high school and you romanticize "say anything" still and you think that it's possible or GOOD to date someone who has no passion in life besides you and kickboxing and will just happily plod along behind you without having their own dreams and ambitions, you should make a list of your problems and put this as #1.

The thing about this is that it's like "HI, WHAT?!" and also a little "Hm. Maybe, yeah." I agree-disagree. Which makes me an excitable toddler -and- a pensive old man who smokes his pipe in the rocking chair and muses over Tang-colored sunsets. Except I have better bladder control.

Also, I bet you know at least 3 ladies who love(d) John "Cue Slack" Cusack in their hearts, deep and true. He's the popularest unpopular in his era's filmtown.
