How did The Girl Next Door (it was in theaters this year for about 6 days) get this big ol' aeon-spanning, genre sprawl of a surprisingly good soundtrack? There's some '70s psych-out stuff, some N.E.R.D., but most especially ?!? = Red House Painters, Mogwai, Looper, The Verve... The "Killing Moon" nod is a bit Donnie Darko copycat, but man:
